APARTMENT NEXT TO THE ŁAZIENKI PARK IN WARSAW
The apartment, located in a restored and extended pre-war tenement house, has undergone numerous reconstructions. Despite the area of over one hundred meters, its not very functional layout did not meet the needs of the new owners.

The investors’ dream was to obtain a spacious, classic, and elegant interior with a day zone separated from the private part. To achieve the desired effect, it was necessary to completely rebuild and create a new layout of the rooms.

The spacious hall now leads to the open living area, which, in addition to the living room, includes a dining room and a kitchen. The space that combines several functions is joined by classic-style wardrobes hidden in the line of the walls and a library. Their coffered divisions smoothly transform into the stucco pattern of the wall. The carpentry and doors were made with the visible wood structure with attention to every detail, including metal fittings.

The kitchen combines classic form with modern appliances, most of which are hidden in the built-in furniture. The new layout of the rooms makes the kitchen almost invisible from the living room. The main decoration of this part of the interior is an island and a kitchen worktop made of large-size stoneware. The background for the stone island and the table is a long wall with a coffered rhythm of divisions with watercolors by the Polish artist.

A double-glazed door leads from the living room to the private part. Behind them is a long hall with an open wardrobe to the left and two bedrooms. The owners’ bedroom is divided into two parts by a custom-made library. Thanks to this, in addition to the zone with a comfortable, large bed, there is also a small, quiet office – a place for work and quiet reading.

The second bedroom is a guest room. The gray color has given way to subdued blue in it. Also, in this room we kept a monochrome color scheme by selecting decorative fabrics and upholstery in the same color as the walls.

This realization is our next project in which art plays an important role. We not only took care of the appropriate presentation and setting of the works from the owners’ collection, but we also offered paintings, graphics and spatial objects by Polish artists that complemented the space of this apartment.
