INTERIOR DESIGN
SUBURBAN CHIC
The interiors of this house, located on a secretly hidden plot near Warsaw, were to meet the requirements of all its inhabitants. This is a challenge especially when the project is created for a five-person, overworked family of diverse tastes. The owners also attach great importance to details and finishes, which is why we chose high-quality materials.
The architecture of the building’s body directed our reflections towards aesthetic references that evoke associations with the art-deco and mid-century modern styles. However, these are quite distant references, because in a house created today we wanted to avoid literal borrowings.
The interiors that were created are elegant and eclectic. In addition to aesthetic values, the necessary requirement of this project was also the comfort and convenience of using the proposed solutions. The necessary condition was to hide everyday equipment and personal items in such a way that it would be easy to use, a large amount of storage space and the use of materials that will be easy to keep clean.
The challenge was also the staircase design, which was separated from the design of the block and entrusted to our design agency. We wanted the construction of the stairs to be a monolithic, sculptural shape that was a distinctive decorative element of the lobby space.
